The Combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course is 3 days in duration and covers a wide range of interesting topics enabling you to become knowledgeable and confident to deal with any first aid incident within a adult and child environment.
Those employees that require this course would have to attend 2 separate courses before. Now you can achieve both qualifications in one course.
You may have some employees that require a First Aid at Work certificate and others that require a Paediatric First Aid certificate and this course will suit all those employees.
It can be attended over three consecutive days or you can split the course so that it is scheduled 1 day per week over 3 weeks. As long as it is completed within 10 weeks.
Should you require one of our trainers to deliver this training at your workplace you have the flexibility of starting the course as early as you would like or alternatively you can request a later start on dates of your choice that suit you and your staff.
Each student will receive a colourful, comprehensive manual and BOTH a First Aid at Work certificate and a full Paediatric First Aid certificate that will be valid for 3 years.
This course meets the standards required to comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and is Ofsted compliant
Assessment: You will be required to successfully complete a short multiple choice paper and will be assessed on your practical skills to qualify for your certificate.
The combined First Aid at Work and Paediatric First Aid course has a mix of theory and practical elements. You will be required to kneel on the floor for some of the practical elements.
- Students should be aware that they must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.
- Students must be physically able to carry out the practical assessments detailed in the course content to achieve the course certificate
