First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work Annual Update Refresher
Annual Update Refresher
This course is new from the 1st October 2010.
The three hour update course is designed for those delegates that have taken a three day First Aid at Work or the one day Emergency First Aid course since 1st October 2009.
It is strongly recommended by the HSE that those who have attended the three day or one day course should do a 3hr refresher each year thereafter until the third year. They should then renew by taking either a 2 day First Aid at Work Requalification or a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course depending on their initial certification. This will ensure they remain qualified first aiders.
By completing this course the individual will be refreshed in some of those topics which they may otherwise feel unsure of dealing with if they should wait the full three years until renewal.

- Assessing the situation in an emergency
- Unconsciousness
