Using chemicals or other hazardous substances at work can put people’s health at risk, so the law requires employers to control exposure to hazardous substances to prevent ill health. They have to protect both employees and others who may be exposed by complying with the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH) (as amended).
This course will prepare employees to contribute to the safer use of hazardous substances and give them an overall understanding of the risks and how to control them.

Who should attend?
This course is suitable for all staff members who are responsible for or use hazardous substances at work.
Course duration
This course is held over three hours. (half day)

Maximum 12 delegates.
Certification
A certificate of attendance will be issued by 'Pulse' at the end of the course.
This course can be accredited and certificated by the CIEH (Level 2 Award in the Principles of COSHH) on successful completion of a multiple choice question paper.
